French writing desk dating to the early 1900s, designed in the Louis XVI revival style. Constructed in walnut with parquetry veneer detailing, tapered legs, and original brass mounts. Finished with a pierced brass gallery along the top.
The desk features two upper drawers and a larger lower drawer, with an original leather writing surface. The leather shows significant wear consistent with age and use. Structurally solid, with veneer and inlay intact.
A refined, compact piece well suited for use as a writing desk, console, or accent table.
