A pair of late 19th-century French Louis XVI style bedside cabinets featuring original inset marble tops. Each cabinet offers a drawer above a paneled cupboard door and is raised on slender turned legs joined by a practical lower shelf. Crafted with warm walnut or fruitwood veneers and classic neoclassical detailing, they make elegant nightstands or side tables with timeless European character.
Good antique condition consistent with age. Light wear to the finish and minor marks to the marble as expected from over a century of use. Structurally solid and well preserved with attractive patina. Minor variations between the two pieces.
