Pair of Chinoiserie Blue & White Double Gourd Porcelain Table Lamps with Gilt Lotus Bases

A charming pair of mid-20th century chinoiserie-style blue and white porcelain table lamps, dating to approximately the 1950s–1970s. The glossy porcelain bodies are formed in the classic double gourd shape, a traditional Chinese motif symbolizing prosperity and longevity.
Each lamp is decorated with cobalt blue scrolling floral designs inspired by historic Chinese export porcelain. The porcelain bodies are raised on decorative gilt metal lotus bases, adding warmth and visual contrast to the crisp white glaze.
The elegant double-gourd silhouette became especially popular in mid-century interior design and remains a timeless decorative form. These lamps work beautifully on bedside tables, consoles, or as decorative accents in traditional or transitional interiors.
The lamps are wired and ready for use and include linen drum shades.
