Late 19th Century Rococo Revival Marble-Top Center Table
SKU:C2810225-18
Impressive late 19th century Rococo Revival center table featuring a substantial white marble top over a richly carved walnut pedestal base.
The table showcases classic Louis XV–inspired elements, including bold acanthus carving, a turned urn-form pedestal, and deeply scrolled cabriole legs with pronounced undercut detailing. The craftsmanship reflects quality American Victorian production, circa 1855–1875, with muscular carving and strong architectural presence typical of the period.
The thick molded-edge marble top displays soft natural veining and rests on a traditional cross-braced support system consistent with mid-19th century construction.
