A late 19th-century Victorian casket box featuring beautiful burl veneer panels framed by lighter wood banding. The stepped molded base and warm wood tones give the piece a classic architectural look.
Originally used to store jewelry, letters, or personal valuables, this antique box makes a wonderful decorative storage piece for a desk, bookshelf, or console table.
Circa 1880s–1900.
Condition: Good antique condition with age-related wear including small wormholes, light veneer wear, and a crack to the interior lid panel. The key is not present. Structurally solid.
